w:18" x h:24" A painting from when I first discovered the newly renovated man-made Blackburn Lagoon in 2018. On this sunny day the clouds reflected in the rippled water with the bright green algae growing along the the reddish bank. Sale price is without frame.
ARTWORK INFO - Red Blueberry Field
The dusk lighting in the clouds of this scene glow with a multitude of muted colours. In the winter the branches of the blueberry fields in Pitt Meadows look like a sea of red. The beauty of this piece is the way the blueberry fields have been indicated so simply by the negative scratching of the twigs just to give the suggestion of a field of bushes.
